Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City will search for an investment consultant in mid-2017, said Rick Zimmer, the foundation’s chief financial officer, in an e-mail.
The $537 million Kansas City, Mo.-based foundation will issue the RFP sometime during the summer because of a foundation policy to put the services up for bid at least once every five years, Mr. Zimmer said. Current consultant Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting will be invited to rebid.
The last time the foundation issued an RFP for an investment consultant was 2010; the new RFP was originally scheduled to be issued in the summer of 2016. A reason for the delay was not given.
The foundation will post the RFP on its website.
