Airbus DS Communications, Temecula, Calif., hired The Palancar Group as investment consultant for its $40 million 401(k) plan, said Geoff Smith director of accounting, in an e-mail.
An invitation-only search was launched in October, using InHub's eRFP tool. The company did not previously use a dedicated consulting firm.
The other finalists were Retirement Benefits Group, NFP Retirement and SageView Advisory Group.
The Palancar team focuses on retirement plans and is part of Morgan Stanley.
