Marius Dorfmeister was named global head of clients and a member of the executive committee at sustainable investment specialist RobecoSAM, a spokesman said.
The position is new, and Mr. Dorfmeister joined this month subject to approval by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority.
The spokesman said the sales and marketing department at RobecoSAM reported to the firm’s previous CEO until 2013. Current CEO Aris Prepoudis, along with members of the executive committee, decided to change the setup and add the position. The sales and marketing department now reports to Mr. Dorfmeister.
Mr. Dorfmeister was global head of clients and a member of the executive committee at sustainable investment firm Vescore. A spokesman could not be reached for comment by press time.
RobecoSAM has $10.8 billion in assets under management, advice and/or license in public and private equity.
