Tempe, Ariz., is searching for an investment consultant for its 401(k) and 457 plans, said Michael Greene, city procurement officer, in an e-mail.
The city has issued an RFP for a firm to provide ongoing consulting services for the defined contribution plans, as well as assist in an RFP for a record keeper when Nationwide Financial’s contract expires in November 2019.
The plans have combined assets of $158 million.
Current consultant SST Benefits Consulting is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Tempe’s website. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. MST on Jan. 24. The city hopes to make a decision by the end of February, Mr. Greene said.
