West Hollywood, Calif., is searching for a consultant to study its 401(a), 457 and retirement health savings plans, which have roughly $22 million in assets combined, and to conduct a search for a record keeper, said a request for qualifications on the city's website.
The study will focus on the plans' investment options, fees and the city's fiduciary responsibilities.
The reason for the record-keeper search could not immediately be learned. The existing record keepers, ICMA-RC and Empower Retirement, are invited to rebid, according to the RFQ.
The RFQ is available on the city's website. Responses are due by 4 p.m. PST on Jan. 12, with a hiring decision expected Feb. 21.
