Michael W. Roberge has been named CEO of MFS Investment Management, spokesman Jon Brubaker said.
Effective Jan. 1, Mr. Roberge will become sole CEO after co-CEO Robert Manning resigns from the role to become executive chairman.
Mr. Roberge became co-CEO at MFS in 2015. He has also been president and chief investment officer of MFS since 2010. He will retain those roles as he becomes sole CEO.
MFS had $423.1 billion in assets under management as of Nov. 30.
