Oklahoma Teachers’ Retirement System, Oklahoma City, committed $130 million to Franklin Park Associates for private equity investments in 2017, said Tom Spencer, executive director of the $14.3 billion pension fund, in an e-mail.
Separately, the pension fund took real estate manager Landmark Partners off “alert” status. OM Asset Management announced in June that it was acquiring a majority interest in Landmark. The pension fund put Landmark on alert because of the ownership change.
Being put on alert is a step below being placed “on notice,” which is the last step before termination.
The pension fund had previously committed $35 million to a Landmark fund.
