Olivier Defaux, managing director and head of European mortgage strategies at BlackRock, has left the firm, a spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman said Mr. Defaux is leaving to pursue other opportunities. Further details could not be learned by press time. Mr. Defaux was not available to comment on his next move.
Mr. Defaux's responsibilities will be assumed by existing members of the European mortgage strategies team, she added. He became head of European mortgage strategies in March 2014.
