John Campbell and Jeff Klepacki will join Aberdeen Asset Management's distribution team in early January, a spokesman said.
Mr. Campbell will become global head of strategic clients, a new position focused on working more closely with the firm's largest clients. He will report to Campbell Fleming, global head of distribution.
Mr. Klepacki will join as head of distribution-Americas, a group that manages about $65 billion. He will report to Bev Hendry, co-head of Americas, and Mr. Fleming. He takes on the distribution responsibilities from Mr. Hendry, who will focus on U.S. business strategy.
Mr. Campbell was head of global services for the U.K., Middle East and Africa at State Street Corp. A State Street spokeswoman said he left in February, and his responsibilities were taken on by Nick Wright, head of global services for the U.K., Middle East, Africa, Netherlands and Nordics.
Mr. Klepacki was American funds director at Capital Group until January. A spokeswoman for Capital Group was not available to comment by press time.
