Nils Bolmstrand will replace Christian Hyldahl as head of Nordea Asset Management on Jan. 1, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Hyldahl was head of Nordea Asset Management, which has €202 billion ($214 billion) in assets under management, until late October, when he was named CEO of the 805.7 billion Danish kroner ($114.7 billion) pension fund ATP, Hilleroed, Denmark.
Christophe Girondel, head of institutional and wholesale distribution at Nordea Asset Management, had been appointed acting head of the money manager in the interim period.
Mr. Bolmstrand is based in Copenhagen and currently heads up Nordea Life & Pensions.
