Bruce Phelps was named managing director and head of research for the institutional advisory and solutions group at PGIM, spokeswoman Mayura Hooper said.
It is a new position. Mr. Phelps reports to Karen McQuiston, managing director and head of the institutional advisory and services group at PGIM, the asset management arm of Prudential Financial Inc.
Mr. Phelps was previously managing director in the quantitative portfolio strategy group at Barclays Capital.
