Nevada Public Employees’ Deferred Compensation Program, Carson City, is conducting a shortlist search for a domestic smidcap value equity fund, said Rob Boehmer, program coordinator.
The $749 million 457 plan has been conducting the search because “we have some spaces where we don’t have investment options,” Mr. Boehmer said. Investment consultant Segal Rogerscasey made a presentation at the deferred compensation committee meeting on Tuesday, and Mr. Boehmer said the committee will likely focus on taking on a smidcap value fund. Segal Rogerscasey will present the committee with both active and passive options at its Feb. 15 meeting.
The plan has a total of 17 investment options plus a Vanguard Group target-date fund lineup.
