Aris Prepoudis was named CEO of RobecoSAM, said Francois Vetri, RobecoSAM spokesman, in an e-mail.
Mr. Prepoudis will join the Zurich-based sustainable investing firm on Jan. 1, subject to regulatory approval. He was previously CEO of St. Gallen, Switzerland-based sustainable investing firm Vescore. Information on his replacement there was not available by press time.
Mr. Prepoudis will replace Reto Schwager, who has been serving an interim CEO since the summer departure of previous CEO Michael Baldinger for UBS Asset Management as head of sustainable and impact investing.
Mr. Schwager will resume his previous duties as global head of private equity upon Mr. Prepoudis’ arrival.
