North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System, Bismarck, is searching for a provider for its roughly $11 million 401(a) plan and $83 million 457 Companion Plan, said Bryan Reinhardt, research and planning manager.
The selected firm will provide record-keeping/administration, communication/education, investment management and custodial services. The contract expiration of current provider TIAA-CREF expires in July 2017. The retirement system also has a policy of periodically putting services out to bid. TIAA is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the retirement system’s website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST on Jan. 9. Finalist presentations are tentatively scheduled for March with implementation in April.
