Andrea M. Bollyky joined Silver Rock Financial LP as head of investor relations and business development.
The position is new, a spokeswoman said.
Carl Meyer, Silver Rock Financial LP's CEO and chief investment officer, was the CIO of Michael Milken's family office, Silver Rock Financial LLC.
Mr. Meyer launched the new firm in May and now manages $2.2 billion in opportunistic credit for institutional and high-net worth investors.
Ms Bollyky was partner, senior managing director and co-head of institutional business development at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors until the end of September. Spokesman Paul Blank declined to comment on a replacement.
Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors manages $24 billion in alternative investments including energy, real estate and credit strategies.
