Chicago Policemen’s Annuity & Benefit Fund approved a commitment of $25 million to Invesco Venture Alpha Fund at a board meeting of the $2.7 billion pension fund on Monday.
The investment in the venture capital fund of funds is the latest in “a series of investments (the fund has had) with Invesco across the private equity and venture capital spectrum since 1984,” said Aoifinn Devitt, chief investment officer, in an e-mail.
