Paul Gill was named investment manager at the Pensions Infrastructure Platform, said a spokeswoman.
The position is new, and Mr. Gill starts in December. He will be based in London working on a mixture of debt structuring and equity investments, said the PiP in a news release. He reports to Ed Wilson, chief investment officer.
CEO Mike Weston said in the release: “(Mr. Gill) has a wealth of experience across multiple sectors and will complement our existing skill sets. His capabilities in senior debt and bond origination, distribution, and deal restructuring will be particularly valuable.”
The PiP is the infrastructure investment business developed by pension plans. It is wholly owned by the U.K.’s Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association.
Mr. Gill was associate director specializing in infrastructure and energy at Lloyds Banking Group Asset Management. A spokesman was not available to comment on Mr. Gill’s replacement.
