Michael Buchman and Yatin Patel were promoted to co-chief investment officers at the $2.5 billion Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Agoura Hills, Calif., confirmed Julia Friedman, communications manager.
Messrs. Buchman and Patel have been performing the CIO duties since May when Randy Kim resigned. Foundation officials did not conduct an external search. Mr. Kim’s future plans could not be learned.
Messrs. Buchman and Patel were directors of investments. Their duties will be performed by other members of the six-person investment team.
Three other investment executives have also been promoted, effective Jan. 1. Zane Hamilton and James Kim will be promoted to investment manager from senior investment associate. Andy Wang will be promoted to senior investment analyst from investment analyst.
