The page 6 story “FX algorithms could be great for long term but ...” in the Oct. 31 issue did not specify the platform and had an incorrect title for Mr. Van Name.

The governor appoints the treasurer; the treasurer appoints the CIO. The State Investment Council, most of whose 16 members are appointed by the governor, recommends CIO candidates to the treasurer.
