Michael De Feo was named head of retirement and investment only at Voya Investment Management..
The position is new, spokesman Kristopher Kagel wrote in an e-mail.
"Mike will oversee, and be responsible for, all aspects of our partnership with Voya's retirement business, third-party defined contribution investment-only efforts, subadvisory, and working with our institutional team to help grow our DCIO business," Jake Tuzza, head of intermediary distribution, said in a news release Thursday.
Mr. De Feo had been managing director, DCIO, strategic alliances and subadvised at Nuveen Investments, according to the release. Kristyna Munoz, Nuveeneswoman for Nuveen, declined to comment on personnel changes.
