Michael De Feo was named head of retirement and investment only at Voya Investment Management..
The position is new, spokesman Kristopher Kagel wrote in an e-mail.
"Mike will oversee, and be responsible for, all aspects of our partnership with Voya's retirement business, third-party defined contribution investment-only efforts, subadvisory, and working with our institutional team to help grow our DCIO business," Jake Tuzza, head of intermediary distribution, said in a news release Thursday.
Mr. De Feo had been managing director, DCIO, strategic alliances and subadvised at Nuveen Investments, according to the release. Kristyna Munoz, a spokeswoman for Nuveen, declined to comment on personnel changes.
