Chicago Policemen’s Annuity & Benefit Fund is searching for providers of actuarial consulting and audit services.
Officials of the $2.7 billion defined benefit plan are required to conduct periodic searches to comply with mandatory procurement requirements, said Regina Tuczak, the fund’s executive director, in an e-mail.
The current incumbents, actuary Gabriel Roeder Smith, and auditor Mitchell & Titus, both are permitted to rebid, Ms. Tuczak added.
The RFPs are available on the pension fund’s website.
Proposals for both searches are due by 3 p.m. CST Nov. 30. Successful bidders for the one-year contracts will be contacted on Jan. 31, 2017, RFP documents showed.
