Matt Thompson, head of wholesale business with Sydney-based Perpetual , has taken on the role of general manager of distribution, said a spokesman.
He will retain his previous responsibilities, the spokesman said.
Mr. Thompson replaces Dean Winterton, who left the firm Oct. 14.
Separately, RF Capital, a Sydney-based family office for the founder of Australian builder Multiplex transitioning now to invest third-party money in alternatives, announced Wednesday that Mr. Winterton had joined the firm as its first global head of client, product and marketing.
Mr. Winterton said in a telephone interview that the firm is focused on four alternatives segments: hedge funds, real estate, private equity and unlisted debt/mortgage funds.
