AP7, Stockholm, is searching for a consultant to assist with a search for green impact equity managers, said Anette Dahlberg, senior portfolio manager at the pension fund.
The 268.8 billion Swedish kronor ($31.3 billion) fund will make a decision in January, said Ms. Dahlberg in an e-mail. Executives will launch the search for two to four managers to run 3 billion Swedish kronor in accordance with a “green impact philosophy” and funded by AP7’s existing equity portfolio, once the consultant is in place, she added. A decision on managers will be made in the third quarter of 2017.
RFPs for the consultant search are due Nov. 23, with a contract due to start Feb. 1, said a notice filed with European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily.
