Ross Township Police and General Employees’ Pension Plans, Pittsburgh, is searching for a middle-market private debt fund to which it plans to commit $2 million, said Robert J. Bulas, senior vice president, institutional investment consultant at Morrison Fiduciary Advisors, the pension funds’ investment consultant.
The pension funds are looking for their first private debt manager. It is a new asset class for the pension fund, and funding will come from rebalancing, Mr. Bulas said. The pension funds have a combined $37 million in assets.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on Oct. 20, and the pension funds project an award date of Nov. 23. The RFP is available on Morrison’s website.
Dan Berty, township finance director, referred questions Mr. Bulas.
