Brazos River Authority, Waco, Texas, is searching for a discretionary investment consultant for its 457(b) and 401(a) plans, which have roughly $10.5 million in combined assets, a spokeswoman said in an e-mail.
Earlier this year, MassMutual Retirement Services was hired as the plans’ record keeper, replacing ICMA-RC. As part of that transition, the authority is searching for a firm to provide fund selection and performance reporting, among other services.
The RFP is available on the authority’s website. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. CDT on Oct. 13. A hiring decision is expected by the end of October.
The record-keeper search was conducted earlier this year to test the market. ICMA did rebid, the spokeswoman wrote.
