Mobile (Ala.) Police & Firefighters Pension Fund hired WCM Investment Management to run $5 million in international growth equity, said Mary Berg, pension coordinator.
Funding will come from cash, Ms. Berg said.
Allianz Global Investors, the $143 million pension plan’s other international equity manager, continues to run $10 million in a value strategy.
WCM was approved by the board at its Sept. 28 meeting. Investment consultant Gray & Co. assisted.
