Ilfryn Carstairs and Jeremy Hedberg were named joint chief investment officers of alternative investments firm Varde Partners, spokeswoman Deborah Kostroun said in an e-mail.
Effective Jan. 1, they will assume their roles along with current CIO and CEO George Hicks.
On Jan. 1, 2018, Messrs. Carstairs and Hedberg will remain co-CIOs while Mr. Hicks will focus solely on the CEO position.
Messrs. Carstairs and Hedberg were partners and global co-heads of corporate and traded credit for Varde Partners. Ms. Kostroun did not say at press time if they have been replaced.
