Joseph D. Kelly was named managing director of the client solutions group at Campbell & Co., said spokeswoman Meg Bode.
He replaces Richard Johnson, who left Campbell earlier this year to pursue other opportunities, Ms. Bode said.
Mr. Kelly focuses on institutional sales and consultant relations at the absolute-return money manager. He reports to Michael Harris, Campbell’s president.
Previously, Mr. Kelly was a managing director at Columbia Pacific Advisors. A Columbia Pacific official could not immediately be reached for additional information.
Campbell and its affiliates have $4.4 billion in assets under management. The firm specializes in market-neutral equity strategies and systematic managed futures.
