Aberystwyth University, Aberystwyth, Wales, is searching for an investment adviser to assist its investment committee and staff regarding its endowment funds.
The university has 232 endowment funds, with a total £36 million ($47 million) in assets. The funds have been created mainly via donations and bequests, with the vast majority having specific conditions attached to their use.
Assets are invested across U.K. and overseas equities, private equity, absolute return, fixed interest and real estate, with revenues used for purposes that include scholarships and prizes for students. Funds are also used to assist staff members in their work and research, said a notice filed with procurement website Sell2Wales.
Proposals are due Nov. 1. The RFP is available on Sell2Wales’ website.
