Taunton (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is conducting a search for a small-cap equity manager to run about $26 million for the $265 million pension fund.
Dahab Associates, the plan’s investment consultant, is assisting with the search.
The search will be open to core, growth and value styles, and both active and passive managers may respond.
Daruma Capital Management is the current manager and is invited to rebid, said Paul J. Slivinski, executive director of the pension fund, in an e-mail. He did not explain why the search was being conducted.
The RFP is on Dahab’s website. Proposals are due by noon EDT on Oct. 26. A selection date was not disclosed.
