Jennifer C. Paquette, chief investment officer of the $44 billion Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association, Denver, will retire in the first quarter of 2017, said Katie Kaufmanis, pension fund spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
Ms. Paquette joined the pension fund in 1995 as director fixed income and senior fixed-income analyst, and was named CIO in 2003. The pension fund has begun to seek a search firm to manage the process of finding Ms. Paquette's replacement.
Ms. Kaufmanis said there was no further information.
