Angela Buk was named assistant treasurer and chief investment officer at DTE Energy Inc., Detroit, said Stephanie Beres, company spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
Ms. Buk, who will oversee nearly $9 billion in retirement plan assets, replaces Paul Cavazos, who left in June to become senior vice president and CIO at American Beacon Advisors.
Ms. Buk previously led the treasury asset management group’s alternative investment team at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Officials at FCA could not be immediately reached.
DTE Energy’s defined benefit plan assets totaled $6.5 billion, according to the company’s most recent 10-K filing. It also had $2.2 billion in defined contribution assets, according to the company’s most recent 11-K filing, both as of Dec. 31.
