Damien Loveday was named managing director, investor relations at Angelo Gordon & Co., effective Sept. 26.
Mr. Loveday has responsibility for managing institutional investor relationships in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in this new position, said Jonathan Gasthalter, an Angelo Gordon spokesman. He will be based in the firm's London office.
Mr. Loveday was director and global head of diversifying strategies in Willis Towers Watson's London office.
Ed Emerman, a Willis Towers Watson spokesman, was not able to immediately provide information about Mr. Loveday's replacement.
“Damien is a highly accomplished executive and we look forward to leveraging his deep relationships and alternative investment expertise as we further strengthen and expand Angelo Gordon's global investor base” in Europe and Asia, said Gareth Henry, managing director and global head of investor relations, in a news release.
Angelo Gordon manages a total of $26 billion in credit, real estate and private equity.
