Scott Graves, managing director and head of credit strategies at Oaktree Capital Management, is leaving the alternatives investment firm at the end of the year to pursue other opportunities.
Mr. Graves’ responsibilities will be assumed by Bruce Karsh, co-chairman and chief investment officer at Oaktree, a news release said.
“I have enjoyed 15 years at Oaktree working with the finest professionals. The time has come for me to take on new challenges, but I leave behind an extraordinary and dedicated team. I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished together,” Mr. Graves said in the news release.
“We are very grateful to Scott for his leadership and accomplishments throughout his tenure at the firm. We wish Scott well as he takes his experience and expertise in a new and entrepreneurial direction,” Mr. Karsh said in the release.
Oaktree had $98 billion in assets under management as of June 30.
Mr. Graves could not immediately be reached for additional information; an Oaktree spokeswoman declined to comment.
