Attleboro (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an active domestic small-cap equity manager to run about $12 million, said Leslie Ring, executive director of the $125 million pension fund.
Investment consultant Dahab Associates is assisting with the search.
Daruma Capital Management is the pension fund’s current small-cap equity manager, but the board is seeking other options because performance is lacking, Ms. Ring said. Daruma is invited to rebid. Martha Everett, director of client service at Daruma, could not be immediately reached for comment by press time.
The RFP can be found on Dahab’s website. Proposals are due by noon EDT on Oct. 13. A selection is expected to be made by the end of the year.
