Registrars of Voters Employees' Retirement System, Jennings, La., hired Vontobel Asset Management to run about $2 million in active international equities, recently released board meeting minutes said.
The $80 million pension fund's board voted to reduce Dodge & Cox's portfolio to $2 million from $4 million following a shortlist search for funds to replace or complement ROVERS' allocation to the Dodge & Cox International Stock Fund.
Separately, the pension fund liquidated its $1.5 million investment in Orleans Capital Management's energy fund, and allocated it to Vanguard Group's total stock index fund, increasing that portfolio to $11 million. The reason for the liquidation was not provided.
Investment consultant The Bogdahn Group assisted.
