Johnita Walker Mizelle was named head of business development at LM Capital Group, said spokeswoman Erica McKenna in an e-mail.
It could not be learned by press time if it is a new position. Ms. Mizelle leads the firm’s business development efforts, including for both defined benefit and defined contribution plans, Ms. McKenna wrote.
Previously, Ms. Mizelle was director of North American business development for Lyxor Asset Management. A Lyxor spokesman could not immediately be reached for additional information.
LM Capital Group had approximately $5.4 billion in assets under management across seven fixed-income strategies as of June 30.
