Frederick Chung was named a principal on Adams Street Partners’ private credit team, said a spokesman for the alternatives investments firm.
Mr. Chung will be responsible for sourcing, structuring and reviewing investment opportunities.
Previously, he was a vice president at Goldman Sachs.
Adams Street also named Thomas Petty senior associate and Michael Allen and Emily Shiau associates on its private credit team.
All four positions are new and report to Bill Sacher, partner and head of private credit at Adams Street, and Shahab Rashid, partner and co-founder of the firm’s private credit team.
Mr. Petty was formerly an associate at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Allen and Ms. Shiau were formerly analysts at J.P. Morgan Chase and Alvarez & Marsal, respectively.
Adams Street has $28 billion in total assets under management. Its private credit team launched in January.
