Lisa Davis joined real estate credit manager Pembrook Capital Management as director of investor relations and specialty investment originations, said Robert J. Hellman, a managing director and head of asset management at Pembrook, in an e-mail.
It is a new position, Mr. Hellman said. Ms. Davis will work with socially motivated investors as well as originate investments that promote affordable housing, job creation and revitalization of underserved neighborhoods.
Prior to joining Pembrook, Ms. Davis was a program officer at the Ford Foundation's Metropolitan Opportunity Program in New York. The program offers grants for equitable urban development, including affordable housing and community development financing in the U.S. and emerging markets.
