Philadelphia Board of Pensions wants international small-cap equity managers

Philadelphia Board of Pensions and Retirement is searching for an active international small-cap developed markets equity investment manager or managers to run a to-be-determined allocation, said Christopher DiFusco, director of investments at the $5.3 billion pension plan.

The strategies must be benchmarked against the MSCI All Country World index ex-U.S.

A funding source couldn’t be learned by press time.

The RFP is available on Philadelphia’s procurement website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EDT on Sept. 12. A selection will be made toward the end of this year or early next year.
