Chip Moore was named vice president, consultant relations at John Hancock Retirement Plan Services, said Margaret Cohen, spokeswoman.
It is a new position. Mr. Moore, who began on Aug. 15, reports to George Revoir, vice president, distribution. Mr. Moore will work with the large plan consultant relations team.
Ms. Cohen would not provide any information on Mr. Moore’s previous position.
Mike Peterson, Charles Schwab spokesman, said in an e-mail that Mr. Moore was part of the consultant relations team at Schwab Retirement Plan Services. He would not provide further information.
