Schroder Investment Management North America has recruited two to join its U.S. credit team, said spokeswoman Catherine Wooters.
David Knutson was named head of credit research, Americas, while Chris Eger was named a portfolio manager for the U.S. credit team.
The positions are new.
Mr. Knutson will oversee all of the firm's credit research activities in the U.S., while Mr. Eger will serve as a credit specialist portfolio manager.
Messrs. Knutson and Eger will both be based in New York and report to Wesley Sparks, head of U.S. credit strategies.
Mr. Knutson was a senior analyst in fixed-income research at Legal and General Investment Management America, while Mr. Eger was executive director, credit trader, investment grade domestic and Yankee banks at J.P. Morgan Chase. LGIMA spokeswoman Audrey Belloff could not be immediately reached for comment. J.P. Morgan spokeswoman Jessica Francisco did not know by press time who had assumed Mr. Eger's responsibilities.
Schroder Investment Management North America is an affiliate of Schroders PLC, a global money manager with $459.6 billion in assets under management as of June 30.
