Lisa J. Morris will retire as executive director of the $12.8 billion Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, effective Oct. 31, said spokesman Tim Barbour.
After that time, Deputy Director Helen Ninos will serve as interim director.
A search for Ms. Morris' replacement is anticipated to be launched in September and will be conducted by executive search firm Hudepohl & Associates, pending successful contract negotiations.
Ms. Morris joined the pension fund as deputy executive director in 2004 and was named executive director in 2010.
