Scott Bevier was named managing director of custody and fund services at J.P. Morgan Chase.
The position is new, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Bevier will focus on expanding J.P. Morgan Chase's middle-office outsourcing and information services.
He was North American head of futures clearing and execution at State Street Global Markets, which announced in March that it was closing its global futures clearing business.
