Kevin O'Donnell will join private equity firm Adams Street Partners on Aug. 29 as a partner and the new position of global head of business development and investor relations, said Shree Dhond, spokesman, in an e-mail.
Mr. O'Donnell will also join the firm's executive committee.
He had been a managing director at BlackRock and a member of the management committee for BlackRock's U.S. and Canada institutional client business. Olivia Offner, BlackRock spokeswoman, could not supply information on a replacement by deadline.
