Willmar (Minn.) Independent School District 347 is searching for at least one investment provider for its $11 million 403(b) plan.
The school district is conducting the search because its officials want to find out “what else the marketplace may have to offer,” said Aaron Casper, employee benefits consultant at National Insurance Services of Wisconsin, which advises the plan.
The plan's current record keepers — Educators Financial Services, Voya Financial and MetLife — can rebid, Mr. Casper said.
The RFP is available by e-mail from Mr. Casper at [email protected]. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. Aug. 19. A selection is expected by Oct. 31, Mr. Casper said.
