Douglas R. Rothschild returned to Agecroft Partners as president after a five-year hiatus.
He assumes the position from Donald A. Steinbrugge, who remains CEO of the third-party hedge fund marketing firm.
Mr. Steinbrugge said in an e-mail that he will be able to concentrate more of his time on assisting institutional investors by giving Mr. Rothschild oversight of the firm's day-to-day operations.
Mr. Rothschild served as managing director at Agecroft from 2008 to 2011. He most recently ran his own firm, DRR Consulting, which will close.
