San Francisco City & County Employees' Retirement System approved $275 million in commitments to three managers, said agenda materials for the retirement system's Wednesday board meeting.
In private equity, the $20 billion pension fund committed $100 million to FountainVest China Growth Capital Fund III, managed by FountainVest Partners, and $75 million to GSO Capital Opportunities Fund III, managed by GSO Capital Partners.
It also committed $100 million to Harvest SF MLP Partners, which is classified as a natural resources strategy in the pension fund's real assets portfolio, managed by Harvest Fund Advisors.
The commitments were approved by the board in closed session at its meeting June 8.
