Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) General Employees' Retirement System hired Loomis Sayles, Polen Capital Management and Sawgrass Asset Management to run a total of $50 million in active domestic large-cap growth equities, said Nick Schiess, pension administrator.
The $586 million pension fund issued an RFP in May for managers to replace Navallier & Associates, which ran a $50 million active domestic large-cap growth portfolio. The assets since have been parked in a State Street Global Advisors index fund.
Polen Capital will run $20 million, while Loomis Sayles and Sawgrass will run $15 million each.
The other finalist was BMO Asset Management.
