New York State Common Retirement Fund, Albany, cut its investment in its Lombardia Capital Partners domestic small-cap equity separate account, said the website of state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, the sole trustee of the $178.1 billion fund.
The amount has been reduced by $144 million, and there is $155 million remaining in the separate account, Matthew Sweeney, a spokesman for Mr. DiNapoli, wrote in an e-mail.
The reduction, which took place in June, was “performance related,” wrote Mr. Sweeney. The $144 million was allocated to cash.
A representative for Lombardia could not be reached by press time for comment.
